I got rid of the Airship; I thought the idea was too overdone. So I'm going to put in a flying robot instead. I need scan this beast in now, which won't be easy cause the paper is 11x14. Sorry about the picture quality, my workplace has poor lighting.
Flawed ethics. I thought of doing a portrait of Gov. Blagojevich, but I think someone else will probably draw him. Don't worry the slug creature gets away.
I like to challenge myself and draw an image with just ink (no pencil guides) right out of the gate. Trying not to make too many mistakes, and if I do... I work them into the image. For instance his hair turned into brains, and the lower half converted into a slug monster. Now I'm going make it look like the classic 3D you see in the old comics.
On my lunch breaks I've been trying to bust out the Wacom tablet. I'll do a quick grayscale painting with the airbrush. I used a canvas overlay that I scanned in to give more texture.
