After all these years I still feel deep shame for killing that Blue Jay as a young boy. I will never give my child a BB gun, for fear of making the same mistake I have.
What is it about the creative personality? I brood about things I did decades ago. Also just got a cat euthanized, a different kind of guilt as there is trust on the part of the animal involved.
